this could be you

All Hallow's Eve is here at last
Do you want trick or treat?
Carving pumpkin's ghoulish faces
Not all tricks will be sweet!

Ghosts and frights vie for attention
Goblins who run up the stairs
Frighten faeries and princesses
Whose screams carry through air

Beware the witches on their brooms
I hear they snatch up kids
And add them to their bubbling pots
Making potions used to rid

Castles of mice and rats and bats
What will become of you?
I suggest you stay in tonight
Or, whatever you do

Use care, be sure to watch your back
It may seem a bad dream
Your candy sack could be empty
Or you could wake up and scream!
